EXPAND ANOTHER LISTENING

Sound Installation
Ceramic sculptures, speakers and stereo microphone

2018

Documentation by Juan Francisco Rodriguez and Jazmin Rojas Forero

Expand another listening is an interactive installation that induces a change of attention to the sounds of the environment and the material world that propagates them. The piece is born from an exercise of experimentation with ceramics, sound and architecture.

Two sculptures suspended from the ceiling signal the visitors to place their heads in the middle of them. There he listens to the amplified sound of the place itself, which is being captured live by a microphone, which is suspended 12 meters away in the room. The sound experience of listening to the sound of the place, but under other sonorous qualities generates a sensation of strangeness, which I am interested in provoking.

Expandir otra escucha

Instalación sonora I Cerámica, parlantes y micrófono stereo l 2018
